August 2011 Ammendment to
Extend Current Collective Agreement

The Proposed Change to our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) will be in effect for 14 months, from Oct 1, 2011 to Nov 30 2012. The main amendments for consideration of this proposal are as follows:

1) Base Salary Increase

Each active employee will be paid a base salary increase of $2,500.
This increase will be paid on a bi-weekly basis over the course of the 14 month term. This salary increase is over and above the current salary schedule outlined in the current CBA.

2) ARI (Active Rep Incentive)

Each active employee in the Elite and Signature Channels will receive an incentive of $5,500 paid on a bi-weekly basis over the term of the agreement. This incentive is in addition to the Base Salary Increase.


Each active employee in ALL other Channels will receive an incentive of $4,500 paid on a bi-weekly basis over the term of the agreement. This incentive is in addition to the Base Salary Increase.

3) Modification of Article 13 CBA

The main change in this article regarding Layoffs is an increase of maximum payout from 48 weeks to 75 weeks, and an adjustment of the notice time from an undetermined amount to a minimum of 10 days.

4) Modification of Bonus Thresholds

See Table below for new threshold levels and fixed payouts. The main change is obviously a lowering of the thresholds, as well as the move to a fixed payout amount instead of a % of net gain.
