Canadian Office and Professional Employees (COPE ) Local 131 is pleased to announce that
we have reached an agreement with The Green Party of Canada (GPC) on a new Collective Agreement. COPE 131 is proud to represent Green Party of Canada operations staff across the Canada. This agreement is built on the strong foundations of the first collective agreement between the parties first negotiated in 2021. The President of Local 131, Steven Reeves would like to convey sincere appreciation to our lead negotiator Rick Miller, and bargaining team members, Bridget Burns and Jean-Simon Tremblay-Racette. Furthermore, we would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the GPC bargaining team for their professionalism, and commitment to the task of negotiations in a challenging economic and political environment. The proposed agreement has been overwhelmingly ratified by our members. The new agreement is in place from Sept 1, 2023 until Dec. 31, 2026.
